Municipal Market

Showing signs of growth within the municipal and public market, our team is excited to kick off new projects with Wake County as well as the City of Durham. The Wake County Oak City Multi Sevices Center is a one-story warehouse renovation project located in downtown Raleigh.

Historic Preservation

Preserving history by restoring distinguished structures… that's what we do. And in 2017 we worked on several key projects in the Durham area including Legacy Tower, Nutanix, and Oak City. Our teams stepped up to work on these unique and complex restoration projects.

Expanding Education

Displaying our commitment to excellence, we completed construction of the Hortons Creek Elementary School project on time for students to start the school year off right. And in 2017 we kicked off preconstruction for THREE new local schools including a charter school.

During Gilbane's Fall Protection Week, NCDOL Commissioner Cherie Berry addressed the group of more than 400 local trade contractors and employees stressing safety on the job site.
