The Numbers Speak For Themselves

Gilbane Building Company’s 7-Day Community Service Challenge is a volunteer initiative that aims to support local organizations and communities. The challenge, which launched in 2021, encourages employees to participate in various service activities over a span of seven days. Whether it’s building and repairing homes for low-income families or cleaning and beautifying parks and trails, employees identify causes that matter to them. The challenge has been a huge success, with hundreds of employees volunteering thousands of hours for charitable organizations in their communities.

Passion for community service permeates all aspects of our work, and we consider it a pleasure to be community leaders encouraging others with our example to commit to the greater good.
